I had to get a new computer after my 13 year old one died. I do a lot of high end photo editing using about 6-8 resource intensive programs so I needed something to handle that. I also was willing to pay for a faster processor and video card just to try to stay ahead as new stuff comes out. The computer came in one day thanks to Amazon Prime and was fairly easy to set up right out of the box.
There were a few surprises, I usually have 3-4 additional internal hard drives besides the C drive and this machine only has room for one which was supplied (4 TB). No other drive bays inside or SATA sockets on the motherboard. In fact the only PCI slots are used by the Nvidia Geforce GTX 3070 card. So I am adjusting to having external hard drives which seems to be more popular now… guess I am old school. My machine also shipped with 64GB of RAM which should be more than enough. I have not loaded all my programs yet but it seems to run very fast and reboot with the SSD C drive is done in just a few seconds.
